The World's First Global Census Of A Scattered People.

Ceud Mile failte - One Hundred Thousand Welcomes! The Scottish Nation is the sum of its individual parts, men and women who have left an indelible mark on the world. Men and women who have travelled the world, who have met, befriended, married and settled in just about every corner of the planet.

The aggregate sum of the impact of the achievements of these men and women is way beyond their numerical numbers. Scots in all corners of the planet represent less than 0.5% of the world’s population, yet almost 11% of all Nobel Prizes in the twentieth century were given to Scots or descendants of Scots. Scots are honoured on the postage stamps of over 60 Nations. The list of scientific and other intellectual achievements by Scots is almost endless! Here are but a few -

Steam Engine, Telegraph, Telephone, Television, Logarithms, Calculus, Penicillin, Insulin
